Justice Yvonne Mokgoro is a woman of many accolades, She was a judge of the Constitutional Court of South Africa from its inception in 1994 until the end of her 15 year term in 2009. She held positions on the boards of a number of civil society organisations. She served on the Advisory Committee of the South African - Canadian Linkage Project. She was President of Africa Legal Aid , and a recipient of a number of honours and awards, She also served as Chairperson of the Selection Committee of the Press Council of South Africa but that’s not all, she currently serves on a number of boards, and Trusts, including the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, to name a few.
