The last month's Astana Troika summit in Tehran, comprising of leaders from Iran, Russia and Turkey discussed the current situation in Syria. In the joint statement that was released, focusing on the need to preserve the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic. But the attention was primarily focused on the situation around the province of Idlib. Drive Time spoke to Maxim Mikheev, Research Associate at the Dialogue of Civilization and Research Institute.
