Yesterday about 300 people gathered in Cape Town for the mass SHUTDOWN marched to Parliament and the Western Cape Provincial Legislature against ongoing crime and violence on the Cape Flats.
The group of consisting of community organisation and members of the public handed over two memorandums of demands which includes increased police visibility, children commissioners and end to gender based violence and corruption as well as the disbandment of firearms.
