Heideveld residents say the delay by City of Cape Town in rebuilding their burnt houses is unacceptable

The latest fire of properties in the Heideveld area on Sunday left two families displaced. They lost everything during blaze that gutted their homes and alledge the City of Cape Town is unnecessarily delaying the rebuilding of the rental units. This includes two families whose homes were destroyed in a fire last year.

Note we have invited the City of Cape Town for the interview however they confirmed they are investigating the matter and will not comment at this stage.
