Three months after, Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille agreed to resigned from her position following the Democratic Alliance decision to withdraw all internal disciplinary charges against. A new report by legal firm Bowman’s implicates de Lille in alleged maladministration, this includes preventing the declaration of Bo-Kaap as a heritage area.
