This following the recent resignation by former mayor, Patricia de Lille stepped down from the mayoral position and DA membership after she resigned on Wednesday the 31st October
Herron is the 8th to leave the DA following the resignation by two other members including Philiswa Maarman portfolio chair of utilities and Jonathan Cupido ward councillor for ward 31
