Social activist files complaint at CRL Commission against Johan van Wyk

The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) has confirmed receiving a complaint from social activist Yusuf Abramjee against Johan van Wyk for alleged Islamophobic remarks. This comes after a statement in which van Wyk allegedly accused Muslims of funding terrorism through the sale of halaal certified foods was circulated on social media. Abramjee is demanding Van Wyk to the Muslim community and withdraw his malicious and false statements.
