D6 land claims to be heard in WC High Court on Monday

The first hearing of the land claims court case between D6 working committee and the Government of South Africa will head to the Western Cape High Court on Monday.

This after District Working committee filed an application against the SA government for allegedly failing to follow through on their obligation regarding land restitution.
More than 2 000 members are represented by the committee including all land claimants for restitution between 1995 and 1998.
