
Local Muslim cemeteries increase cost for graves

The recent increase in burial prices and time restrictions at Mowbray Muslim cemetery has been met with mix reaction from muslim undertakers who allege it was done without prior consultation. The matter also highlight the safety risks for workers that prepare the grave for burial. This comes after the cemetery increased the cost of graves for adults, reopening of grave, children, foetus and limb.
With the time restriction being one of the main challenge for public who are now required to to bury their loved one at the Mowbray cemetery before 4pm.
