Parliament’s portfolio committee on transport want to prioritize the approval of the Road Accident Benefit Scheme (RABS) Bill which would replace Road Accident Fund (RAF. This means that drunk drivers will be compensated under the (RABS) Bill and result in accident victims and their dependent receiving a reduced payment as compensation for injuries or loss of life.
