Shaykh Ibrahim Gabriels has been inaugurated as the successor to the late Maulana Igsaan Hendricks as the new director of Al Quds Foundation. Shaykh Grabriels was instrumental in establishing the weekly Thursday night Palestinian programme at Masjidul Rawbie in Portlands and has led numerous solidarity rallies in Cape Town. He has a long standing relationship with many Palestinian politicians, religious leaders and activists.
