Brimestone, a South African investment company plan to review its role in the proposed purchase of South African company Clover Industries Limited. This following widespread outrage against a proposed cash offer of R4.8billion by MilCo a group of companies led by Israel’s Central Bottling Company (CBC).
Its believed CBC has operations in Israel’s illegal settlements – both in the occupied Palestinian West Bank and in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Brimstone would have owned an effective 15% of Clover.
