"Bo-Kaap 9" weigh their options in opposing Blok interdict

The Bo-Kaap Community were back in the High Court yesterday as an interdict brought by the development company BLOK was heard. As we know, Blok is trying to stop Bo Kaap residents from blocking its cranes from entering the area as well as to curb protesting at its building site. Initially, there were 7 respondents in the application, however on the 8th December last year, the Bo Kaap Ratepayers and Civic Association requested to be joined to the legal proceedings as the 8th Respondent.
