The Portfolio Committee on Police have recommended that Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) Head Robert McBride's contract not be renewed. McBride had argued that police minister Bheki Cele did not have power to fire him. On line is DA Shadow minister Dianne Kohler Barnard.
