Gatvol Capetonian officially withdraws from all negotiations and participation during 2019 elections

A couple months ago the Gatvol Capetonian group made it clear that it would contest the national elections. But the movement hit an obstacle with its very controversial name. Last month, Independent Electoral Commission of SA (IEC) told political formation that it will not be allowed to contest the 2019 elections because their name has “vulgar and unsavoury connotations”.
