Babes Wodumo assault highlights ongoing trauma of victims of GBV

Gender-based violence groups has voiced concern about the latest attack on Babes Wodumo who was allegedly assualted by her longterm boyfriend and musician. This after a video surfaced online showing artist Bongekile Simelane being assaulted by her boyfriend Mandla 'Mamphintsha' Maphumulo. The video first appeared on her Instagram earlier this week sparking widespread condemnation by fans and political parties.
