Now apartheid era hitman and convicted murderer Ferdi Barnard has been granted parole. This is especially concerning as there are many families still fighting for justice for loved ones killed during the years of apartheid. Such as the family of the late Ahmed Timol currently fighting a legal battle against Joao Rodrigues the former police officer charged for the murder of Ahmed Timol.
