City responds to lack of light allocation in Khayelitsha

Yesterday we discussed the concerns raised by The Social Justice Coalition that has for a very long time been highlighted the disparities in the allocation of resources across Cape Town. With lighting in the Khayelistha being the latest issue the SJC claim is lacking in the area.
However the City says they recently installed more than 2000 conventional lights in Khayelistha but findout more from Councillor Phindile Maxiti the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Energy and Climate Change,
