Bo Kaap canvassing Arts and Culture Minister to declare mosques heritage

The inclusion of the Bo-Kaap area in a heritage protection overlay zone (HPOZ) has now been officially gazetted, but the fight doesn’t stop there. The next step is to have key landmarks as well as mosques declared as heritage sites. And the arts and culture minister Nathi Mtethwa is expected to visit the area tomorrow night.
