
Cape Town commemorates Nakba Day

May the 15th is NAKBA Day known as the day of catastrophe when 750,000 Palestinian where driven from their homes by the Zionist occupation. This war led to the establishment of the Zionist state of Israel in 1948. There are many still waiting for the right to return. In Cape Town a picket commemorating the Nakba will take place in Wale Street at 12.30pm.
