A Ruiterwacht school has been forced to change their exam timetable after muslim parents questioned the reasoning behind the exams being on Eid Day. The letter issued to parents stipulated that muslim learners who wrote exams on Eid Day would be allowed to leave after they completed
However the WCED has reiterated a call to schools across the province urging them to consider religious holidays when scheduling their examination timetable.
