The family of a 76-year-old elderly lady, allegedly tied to the benches of the waiting area by staff at the Mamelodi Hospital in Tshwane is calling on the Department of Health to intervene. The shocking incident has also sparked public outcry amongst people who have watched the video circulating on social media with many criticising the public health sector.
