
City offers ''relief rebates'' for pensioners in new fifty billion rand budget

Pensioners and those with special needs will be receiving some financial relief in their monthly expense of rates. This after the City Council approved a R50 billion City Budget which would allow them to adjust the rates rebates for property owners who are dependent on a pension or social grants for their livelihood.
