Entries for this year’s Awards are officially open

Sonia Mountford is a Woolworths Eat Out Sustainability Awards judge. She is a food journalist, a food-chain researcher and writer for EAT-egrity.

First introduced in 2016 in order to increase awareness about economically and environmentally sustainable practices in the South African food industry, and to recognise restaurant businesses which are making good strides in this regard, the Eat Out Woolworths Sustainability Award has become an accolade at the annual Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards.

Last year’s winner – The Werf Restaurant at Boschendal.
