World Weekly Economic Report

We are back with our World weekly economic report and this week we focus on the G 20 Summit in Japan where Xi and Trump, presidents of the two biggest economies struck a truce in their trade war. Meanwhile the United Nations (UN) has warned of job loses of up to 80 million over the next decade due to climate change. On a local front, South Africa will be faced with massive job losses as MultiChoice, Tiso Blackstar and Standard Bank begin their retrenchments before the end of the year. On line is Senior Research Fellow at University of Pretoria and regular analyst Dr Jason Musyoka.
