A Gift of the Givers Foundation's negotiator Anas al-Hamati and his family have fled Yemen after negotiations soured earlier this week with Al-Qaeda militants keeping a South African man hostage. He is now believed to be in Dubai with the organisations head Dr Imitaaz Sooliman. The kidnappers have allegedly accused the negotiator of stealing the 30 million rand ransom they demanded for Korkie for from the South African government.
