The District Six Working Committee has welcomed the courts judgement on the District Six case which found former rural development and land reform Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane in contempt of court. This following her her failure to take appropriate action in addressing the issue of restitution in District Six. Mashabane will also be fitting the bill of legal cost in the matter as a result of the personal costs order handed down by Lands Claims Court
