Now the Western Cape High Court has ordered former Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane to personally pay legal cost for after she was found to be incomtempt of court for failing to deliver a comprehensive plan for the redevelopment of District Six in Cape Town.It’s a matter the Chief Land Claims commissioner has previously described as complex. This following the two-decade long wait by claimants waiting to return to the neighborhood they were forcibly removed from during apartheid.
