The short lived political marriage between the Democratic Alliance and Agang is over. Mamphela Ramphele announced yesterday that she had reneged from the deal to be the DA's presidential candidate as it clashed with her responsibilities of her party. Helen Zille had a press briefing today expressing her disappointment and calling Mamphela Ramphele “ untrustworthy and that their friendship has taken a knock” because of this.
