
Religious leaders meet at interfaith gathering on new action plan for crime ravaged communities

Various religious leaders and organisations gathered at the Joseph Stone Auditorium for a mass interfaith prayer hosted by Service & Allied Workers Union of South Africa (SAWUSA). Among the aims were to come up with a new crime action plan to address issues of safety and security affecting working-class communities in Cape Town. It follows an upsurge of crime and gang violence that has been ravaging Cape Flats families in recent months.
