He is the founder, CEO, and lead designer of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla; co-founder of Neuralink; co-founder and co-chairman of OpenAI; and co-founder of PayPal. In December 2016, he was ranked 21st on the Forbes list of The World's Most Powerful People.

Elon Musk has initiated the startup of Neuralink, which aims to build a scalable implant to connect human brains with computers and the internet, with a long-term goal of people “merging with AI (Artificial Intelligence)".
