Total Shutdown community meeting to address ongoing gang violence

The Total Shutdown communities movement who initiated the shutown on the 25th September 2018, is hosting a public engagement session later today on the escalating gang violence that has continues despite the deployment of SANDF. Now the movement are among the groups rejecting the call for the army and has voiced concerns about their demands not being addresses one year after residents form different communities took to the street.
