South Africa is under the international spotlight once more following the violent attacks against non- South Africans in Gauteng. The incidence has drawn the ire of several African countries, resulting in shunning the World Economic Forum on Africa (WEF) currently under way in Cape Town. Rwanda, DRC ,Malawi have indicated they are not attending the event with Nigeria sending its special envoy to meet president Ramaphosa. So how will this impact on the country's diplomatic standing?
