Former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has died aged 95. Mugabe ruled the country from 1980-2017 and was subsequently overthrown by the military. Praised by the continent as a liberation hero and defender of African ideals, he was reviled by the West for his handling of the land reform in his country.
