State-of-the art Islamic library

Role-players in the Muslim community have given their full backing for the development of a state-of-the art Islamic library, situated at the Academia Centre complex in Lansdowne.  At the media launch last week a number of community activists showed their support for the Academia Library initiative, which has been described as “a new era of academic scholarship and technological innovation.”  The Academia Library will replace the Islamic Library and will see a huge transformation into a specialist public library that serves to empower the local community.
