Fourth desalination plant in the pipeline for Cape Town

The year the City Cape Town approved a 10 year Water Strategy plan recently as and plans to implement various interventions to help avoid future water crisis associated with drought. This includes a permanent desalination plant a method used to avoid Day Zero. Now previous attempts by the City to implement desalination plants has resulted litigation against against the City by the company operating the plant in Waterfront seeking over R20million in damages after contractual disputes.
