In recent weeks, South Africa has experienced xenophobic attacks against foreign nationals mainly in Johannessburg with shops of foreign owners being looted. Whats concerning is that the issue of apparent xenophobia has made its way to a local Cape Town school where a Congolese Grade 10 learner had to be hospitalized for two weeks after her classmates from Salt River High School had beaten her.
