Capetonians mourn the passing of Aunty Galiema Haron

In what was a sad loss to the Haron family and South Africans at large, Haji Galiema Haron passed away at the age of 93 in the early hours of yesterday morning. Haji Galiema was the widow to the late martyr Imam Abdullah Haron, who was killed by the Security Branch of the apartheid era Police Force on the same day, 50 years ago. Today also concluded 123 days of commemoration events by the Imam Haron Foundation.
