More than 40 community radio stations nationwide face closure due to lack of licences, funding and debt. According to reports, the Independent Communications of South Africa (ICASA) plans to close about 43 radio stations. On line is ICASA spokesperson Paseka Maleka and National Community Radio Forum secretary (NCFR), Thabang Pusoyabone.
