A Sunday newspaper article has reported that Mineral and Energy Affairs minister Gwede Mantashe had bribed two journalists to kill a story. Though the names of the journalists are not known yet, the issue has again raised the integrity of journalism in the country. On line is Head of Programs at Media Monitoring Africa, Thandi Smith.
