The Muslim Judicial Council has for year’s been fighting to secure and preserve Zandvliet, the birth place of Islam in South Africa. There has been a pro-tracted legal battle to save the heritage of Shaykh Yusuf of Macassar - which remains under threat. The matter has been placed on the court roll for a pre-trial at the Cape Town labour court today. Historian Nazeem Braaf chats to us now
