Police condemned for brutality against foreigners

A police crackdown on foreign nationals and refugees occupying the offices of the UN High Commission for Refugees resulted in chaos in Cape Town yesterday. Police received wide condemnation following their conduct when effecting an eviction court order. On line is Commissioner at the South African Human Rights Commission, Reverend Chris Nissen.
