The red berets packed the NASREC centre this weekend for their party's second National People's Assembly, which I’m sure was not short of action and colourful quips by the CIC Julius Malema. Of course, some of the more pressing things to come from the conference were the land question in South Africa, economic freedom, the monopoly of our financial institutions, re-building the capacity of the state and interestingly, the establishment of an EFF continental council - which aims to agitate for the removal of "repressive regimes".
