Maurice Muktar has been visiting resettlement centers in N'Djamena, Chad and hearing first-hand about the atrocities committed in Bangui and throughout Central African Republic at the hands of militia forces. A political crisis has morphed into what has been reported as ethnic cleansing of the Muslim minority population. On Saturday, he leaves for the refugee camps in southern Chad administered by UNHCR in collaboration with World Food Programme, Red Crescent Society, FAO, and other humanitarian organizations and after that will spend time in Cameroon.
