Worries about rollout of 5G

One chap said hopefully, the 5th Industrial Revolution?
Others merely cast their eyes upwards and looked at me with sympathy, or was it contempt?
So what is 5G and should we care?

A lot of people around the world do care and are very vocal about it. First, ‘5G’. ?. That’s the term for the 5th Generation of personal devices, digital mobile communication devices – cell-phones we call them, or tablets. And the network of base stations to connect them. We’re currently on the 4th Generation. And you can’t do without your smartphone or iPad, can you? Or perhaps you’ve never tried. Don’t. It’s not remotely an option.
