In this week's Africa report, we look at The Gambia, where protesters are demanding for the resignation of president Adama Barow who pledged in 2016 to step down after 3 years. They are also calling for return of former president Yayha Jammeh, who ruled the country for over 20 years. In Burundi, the governing party has said Secretary General Evariste Ndayishimiye will be its candidate in the May presidential election . Current president Nkurunziza is not seeking re-election. Meanwhile, Angola's chief prosecutor announced funds Isabel do Santos invested in Portugal had been embezzled from her home country.
