FAO warns of food security as locusts ravage Horn of Africa

The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has warned that rising numbers of Desert Locusts present an extremely threat to food security and livelihoods in the Horn of Africa. According to latest update on the Locust upsurge, the current situation would further worsen with new breeding. On line from Kenya is FAO Sub Regional Eastern Africa Resilience Team, Cyril Ferrand.
