Muslim Judicial Council & Western Cape Education Department sign MOU regulating Hifdh Schools

Yesterday, the Muslim Judicial Council’s and the Western Cape Education Department signed a ground-breaking memorandum that recognizes the importance of Islamic schools and, in particular, students of the Quran. The agreement follows at least 4 years of engagement with different stakeholders and makes way for Islamic institutions to be officially regulated- opening the doors of opportunity for muslim students.
