Today the Economic Equality Charter held a with a number of community and civil society organizations and structures. According to the organisers the march was because their voices are not being heard and because our living circumstances and living conditions, plight, has been neatly tucked away from the eyes of the world and legitimate public scrutiny for many decades.
March was also because poverty is not a set of unavoidable circumstances thrust upon the unlucky masses, it is the wilful choice of the privileged few who have governed our country under apartheid, that of those who still govern our province and those corporates who profit from them.
