In this week's Africa report, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in Africa visiting Senegal, Ethiopia and Angola. His visit has received mixed signals amid travel bans and military cuts to some African states. In Burundi, main opposition have picked Agathon Rwasa as its candidate for the country's May 20 presidential election. In Cameroon, conflict between the army and English speaking fighters seeking to form a breakaway state called the Ambozonia have continued with at least 22 dead in the massacre.
